JES - 3.5.4 has always constantly crashed for me when converting a project with more than 2 files. It gets fun when i have 150 clips to convert. :\

Any idea why? The only solution suggested is killing the extra export servers in Activity Monitor.

also, i saw a thread here about a conversion being too dark. it's happened a few times to me as well. but it was only visible when being rerendered by another program for output (After Effects).

What matters is, how does it look in QT Player?
There is a bug in conversion of RGB based movies (gamma->nclc) which is fixed in the next version.

How did you arrive at the "nclc other" setting? Generally for HD size movies you want "nclc HD".

Choosing telecine for 30->24fps conversion doesn't result in a smooth movie.

I haven't been able to reproduce the crash with a conversion of 3 files at the same time (doing a similar conversion).
